- The training course involves full in-person attendance for both theoretical and practical components.
- After successfully completing and passing the course, participants will receive a recognized certification.
- To all employees (health professionals, coaches, security forces, private schools, service workers and industry, etc).
This course covers understanding current first aid legislation and the role of the first aid provider. Participants will learn about using first aid equipment in the workplace and the fundamental principles of hygiene and personal protection when administering first aid. The course also includes incident documentation and reporting.
The training emphasizes safe, prompt, and efficient actions by adhering to safe approach guidelines and procedures for various situations, such as:
- Basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Choking
- Heart attack
- Unresponsive patient
- Epilepsy
- Bleeding
- Shock management
- Minor wounds and abrasions
- Multiple choice written assessment
- Practical assessment
- Certificate of Attendance entitled “Emergency First Aid at Work” valid for 3 years.
Emergency First Aid at Work / 6 hours:
The 6 – hours emergency first aid at work course should also be renewed every three years. The EFAW certificate obtained by repeating the original 6 hours training.
With the training completion, the certificate will be valid for more three years.

- Acute poisoning
- Anaphylactic shock
- Injuries to bones, muscles, and joints
- Spinal injuries
- Chest trauma
- Eye injuries
- Minor cuts and abrasions
- Stroke
- Asthma
- Diabetes
- Multiple choice written assessment
- Practical assessment
- Certificate of Attendance entitled “First Aid at Work” valid for 3 years.
First Aid at Work – 18 hours / 3 days:
The 18-hour first aid at work training course must be renewed every three years. The renewal is achieved by repetitive training lasting 12 hours, in order the certificate to be valid for three more years.
The second FAW certificate renewal (at the end of 6 years) is achieved at the completion of a 12 hours requalification course and will be valid for three more years.
Upon the expiration of 9 years an original first aid at work course should be repeated from the beginning, lasting 18 hours.
In all above cases, the process of written and practical examination is the normal.
